Villefranche-sur-Mer and its neighbour, St. Jean Cap Ferrat are extremely exclusive villages situated in between Nice and Monaco, just next to Beaulieu-sur-Mer with some of the world’s most expensive real estate on offer !  

Villefranche’s Old town is a charming jumble of narrow, picturesque streets, (with the pastel facades of the houses decorated in the typical 'trompe l'oeil' style), the Old Harbour with its small fishing boats and of course the beautiful beaches give a very special ambiance to this gorgeous  spot which has retained all the warmth and charm of a fishing village from a different age.

 It also boasts a fortified Port and a magnificent Citadel whose majestic walls now harbour an open air theatre surrounded by gardens.

Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is known for its luxurious villas nestled amongst lush vegetation. Discretely built and protected from prying eyes, these stunning homes will often include a private beaches and guarded entrances for the comfort of their well-known and hugely wealthy residents. It is a very private place and most of the houses are surrounded by high fences and imposing! St. Jean also has a pretty port where a number of restaurants have shady terraces .

 In contrast to the rest of the Cap, the small village of St Jean is relatively unpretentious (although still very expensive for property!). he fishing boats have disappeared from the picturesque port, replaced by private yachts
